X-Ray Services

General radiology used to diagnose broken bones and other conditions is provided at both of our locations by registered radiology technologists. If more extensive studies, such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) or computed tomography (CT scans) are necessary, MedCenter refers patients to the appropriate resources.

One of the important technological advances MedCenter has put into place is all digital general radiology equipment. This exciting new technology not only enables technologists to view x-rays instantaneously on a computer screen, but also allows them to manipulate and enhance the image to better view problem areas.

The images can also be shared online immediately with physicians at the other MedCenter location, as well as other healthcare professionals who can assist in making the best diagnosis possible.
